How do you format powerpivot code? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello, what is an efficient way to format DAX code? It's pretty hard to do so in formula drop down. Thanks.

  • I recommend PPutilities available on SQLBI.com. It adds a library that will extract all your measures and calculated columns into regular tables and includes DAXformatter to make them very pretty. Think of it as a source documentor. Has saved my rear a number of times when a project has gone bad.

It also documents you relationships and unused columns to help reduce size of the projects.

The price is right also $0
