Microsoft .Net Framework 4 error. RRS feed

  • I am having trouble installing .net framework 4. Here is my log:

    Thank you for your post.

     

    From your post, you installed .NET Framework 4 via a web installer, so I recommend you try standalone version of .NET Framework 4: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=17718.

     

    Could you please use the tool MVP suggested to collect the logs?

     

    I also recommend you try to clean up %temp% folder and complete all Windows updates before you begin to install .NET Framework 4. Also, make sure all antivirus and antispyware are turned off during the installation. Last but not least, run setup file as administrator.
