Can't deploy my app any more. And another problem with SharePoint RRS feed

  • Question

  • Ohh guys. It is getting worse and worse. I have an app which I am developing for the last month. I am developing in VS and during development I am using a local host, and once in two weeks I am installing to my SP online dev. So I have done that process 100 times: registering app in appregnew.aspx, getting clientid and secret. Updating web config with those values, publishing it to Azure web sites and finally packaging the app and deploying it to SP. Guess what now? It doesn't work any more. "An error occurred while processing your request.". The page from my app doesn't have anything at all, only code from msdn to display chrome. Can you guys help me to figure it out what could be wrong? May be some changes were made to Azure web sites?

Second error. Try to install any app which has ribbon custom action with Dialog window ().  Try to close that Dialog window. After Sharepoint tries to refresh the page it comes up with

I was thinking that may be it is my app causing this issue. I have deleted everything and the error is still there with other apps I downloaded earlier.

Thanks you and hope you guys will help me to sort it out.

  • If I understood correctly, you are trying to develop Provider hosted app that was hosted in Azure.

Did you try publishing your app by creating the new Azure site?

Please refer the below blog on providerhosted app and verify if you have missed any steps here.

If you are getting errors in office 365 site, can you check the details of the error using "Get-SPOTenantLogEntry" command.
