Hope your query has been answered by now. However, would like to add few points here.
Firstly, would like to know if you configuring the IIS for the VM by remote into it?
I've tried something similar to the above scenario and I was able to find Role services Pane in the left hand side.
Unfortunately, could not post the screenshot here due to forum restrictions. apologies for the inconvenience.
- IN server Manager -> click on the link " Add roles and Features " -> click Next in the " Before you begin " after reading the documentation -> Select role based
or feature based installation for single server by adding roles , role services and features -> click Next -> Select the server from the server portal -> Select the roles you wanted to install and click next ( example " Application Server and
Webserver IIS -- Add these features ) -> click next for the page Application server -> Now you can see the " Role services "
- From here, you should be able to navigate to your requirement.
