sllauncher.exe on Windows Server 2003 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am trying to use sllauncher.exe to launch a silverlight XAP which is present on a non-user specific directory.

    Something like.
    C:\Sample\Application.xap

On a windows 7 server, if i run

    sllauncher.exe "C:\Sample"

The silverlight app gets launched and it works fine.

But if i try the same on a windows server 2003, it does not launch the app?

On both OS (Windows 7 as well as Windows server 2003) I have the same version of silverlight namely 4.0.50401.0 which is Silverlight 4 RTM

Will the sllauncher.exe be different for different OS versions ?

    Thanks.

The sllaunch.exe should be no difference.

But dif sys surely has dif security control. Also as you see from the above link , it's not even a listed supported system for Silverlight.
