Grouping rows in DataGridView C# RRS feed

    Here is a thought, look at the following custom DataGridView for grouping. Unlike third party grids it's limited to grouping by the first column,

    Can you be more specific as grouping can be done many ways. Also describe were data is coming from and what is the key member for grouping.

  • You could simulate cell merging, basically use CellFormatting to empty cells. But it's not really cell merging, for which you need RowPrePaint/RowPostPaint. It might be just easier to get a third party grid that has grouping support.
