  • Hi Anitha,

I suppose there is some error in your Custom Webpart code. Please try accessing the Maintenance Page using following URL syntax and close the web parts which are giving problem.

    Hope this helps.

  •  I have the same opinion, it might have some issue with the code.

from maintenance page try to see whether the webpart is at all added in the page or not. Then go to the ULS log and see if there is anything help-ful there.

In order to get good information in the log you can first change the Diagnostic-Logging mode to Verbose and then try. Or

It could be because of some issue in the webpart gallery from where we usually add those webparts in the page. That is something you have to check and confirm.

  • Hi,

Go to your web application web.config file and make below changes (c:/inetpub/wwwroot/wss/virtual dir../port no/web.config)

CallStack = True and Customerror mode ="Off"

This change will give you the exact error of your custom webpart.

    Hope it could help
