What version of VirtualBox? The only problems I've had with it is that the
    video driver won't install correctly.

  • Does your system support virtualization? if so enable it in BIOS.

  • In Virtualbox click help -> Virtualbox info.

I created a default new virtual box (machine) for Windows 7 (in my case x64).

You can download the newest version of Virtualbox here -> http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads

That indeed very important. First check if your BIOS supports virtualization as CaptainMVP said.

  • I downloaded 64-bit too. Virtual Box doesn't supports 64-bit in my PC.

Its not Virtual box that does not support it, its your BIOS that has to support hardware virtualization

  • It supports Hardware D.E.P but not Hardware Virtualization. Damn it. Any other way to get Hardware Virtualization?

  • Only way is to check if there maybe a BIOS update that adds that feature, otherwise, no.

I am also facing the Network Driver issue with VBox.  Did you get any solution to make your Internet work from VBox?

  • Hello KSDN,

You should set the network adaper in Virtual Box to Bridged vs. Nat if you want to test out networking with your network.
This should allow you to be able to reach the Internet.
