debugging and the compiler question RRS feed

  • Question

  • You know msaccess was great to use because you could step through code - and could add code in real time and still get all features.

i.e. add code and reset the stepper to before the addition, and continue without stopping to recompile. add delete lines, get intellisense, see results and make further changes, etc

i.e. edit and continue, compile on demand, background compile

I am wondering if this basic compiler has this feature. Or if any compiler does this now.

Can anyone reply please, as i am on linux at present.
