SCSI Port filter driver for Disk PDO filter

Question

Hi Folks, I need your openion on below. 1: Is it fine to have a SCSI port filter driver which also to filter Disk PDO inorder to handle IO request to the disk devices?. or Do we need to have a seperate disk class lower filter driver to do that?. Is there any unknowns/changes in IO stack which I need to consider for upcoming windows release(windows 8)? Appricate your quick response on this?. Thanks, Subbu
