Can KITL on WEC7 set breakpoint on Interrupt Service Routine(ISR) of a device driver? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I set up the KITL between target device and host machine and can load the nk.bin via the KITL

I also can set a break point on my driver routine, for example, XXX_Read and XXX_Write routine, and do any debugging actions.  But I meet a problem, if I set a break point  on the ISR(Interrupt Service Routine) of my device driver, when the break point hit, the target device hang up and my VS2008(platform builder) can't connect to target device any more.

In my build options, I already set yes to Enable Kernel debugger and Enable KITL..

so my question is that any requirement to debug the ISR of device driver? It is limitation on KITL itself or something i did wrong.

If i am wrong in something, any suggesting to me to diagnosis my problem?
