  • Hi elad,

Thank you for your post in MSDN forum!

    Sorry for the late response!

    Some clarification with you

Have you installed some add-ins on your machine?

If yes, could you uninstall it and try it again?

Based on your description, I reproduced your scenario on my machine. It works well.

I would encourage that you could change an account or reset your visual studio environment and try it again.

The specific suggestions are as follows.

1, you could restart Visual Studio and try it again.

2, you could create a new user account and try it again.

3, Reboot the machine into Safe Mode. This can isolate some third party application/driver's interference.

4, you could type ‘Devenv.exe /SafeMode’, which starts Visual Studio in safe mode, loading only the default environment and services.

5, if it does not work, you could type ‘Devenv.exe /resetsettings’. It restores Visual Studio default settings. Optionally resets the settings to the specified .vssettings file.

More information about Devenv.exe Command Line, you could refer the following link:

You could create a log file (‘Devenv.exe  /log’ ) on your drive. If this issue exists still, you could invest your log file to narrow down the issue.
