Can web hooks pick up actions in a document (outcome-based) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm not sure if I'm in the right forum, but I'm hoping someone here can help.  Our programmers can use web hooks to pick up whether a user has clicked a button, menu selection etc., but can they be used to pick up the results in a document?  For example, can they report whether a page break exists at a certain point in the Word document?

    Thanks for any feedback...

  • Hello Marion Deland,

Word provides a rich set of APIs that you can use to create add-ins that interact with document content and metadata. We would suggest you use these apis to interact with objects and metadata in a word document.

Please refer to below link for more information.

    Word JavaScript API reference

    Best Regards,
