How can I use Telnet to route my printf to a client RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

Till now I have connected a display and keyboard to my device to display debug and general information through printf to the console.

Since my device is an industrial controller, it is a headless device and the only way to the device is through a LAN cable.

Is there a way that I can use Telnet and route all the debug information to user running a telnet client.

Also I want KITL and the kernel debugger enabled till the time I am testing my application, so that I can use breakpoints. So I don't want telnet to interfere with KITL.

    Thanks,

  • Without customization of telnet server's source codes, the debug strings (ex. output by OutputDebugString function) can't send to telnet client.

    cf.

There are source codes in %_WINCEROOT%\public\servers\sdk\samples\telnetd .
