Error executing scripts for create table TombStone RRS feed

  • Question

I'm using the Sync Framework with SQL Server for Server and SQL Server Compact 3.5 for de Client.

When I was made the Sync, the Visual Studio 2008 showed the message:

    Error executing scripts for dbo.ANOBASE
CacheLocal.dbo.ANOBASE.sql script failed with the following error:

The scale (5) for column 'ANOBASE' must be within the range 0 to 4.

IF NOT EXISTS (SELECT * FROM dbo.sysobjects WHERE id = OBJECT_ID(N'[dbo].[ANOBASE_Tombstone]'))

    CREATE TABLE [dbo].[ANOBASE_Tombstone](

        [ANOBASE] Decimal(4,5) NOT NULL,

        [DeletionDate] DateTime NULL

    ) ON [PRIMARY]

The dbo.ANOBASE table has not been configured for synchronization.

Do you want to continue running scripts?
    Yes No

My Table ANOBASE (in English  Year Basis) have the primary key column the type numeric(4), but the scripts create is decimal(4,5).

The same is happing with other table. Example, a table with PK numeric(10) , the script create with decimal(10,9)

    Can somebody help me?

  • Thanks for reporting this issue. this is a bug on our side.

for now to unblock you ( if you are blocked ), you can use numeric ( 5 ) ( which is closed to yours ).
