Kinect V2 on Windows 10 desktop, USB controller issues RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm trying to connect Kinect V2 to my Windows 10 desktop, and I'm getting green checkmarks on all hardware components, except for the USB controller. It's that there are not enough resources.

I'm using a mainboard controller, not an external hub. This is my mainboard: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3316#sp

I went through this list, but no issues there: http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-on-windows/accessories/kinect-for-windows-v2-known-issues#a191c2e82c204146a0605d782958b7d8

Everything should be fine, but it doesn't work - when I run a demo app, Kinect starts going on and off.

I've spoken to Xbox support and the Windows Tech support and they didn't help at all, they were continuously redirecting me one to another.

Hopefully, someone will be able to help me here.

  • I'm having this same issue.  Updating my display adapters helped slightly, but still having low frame rates.

Were you ever able to get this fixed?
