Force Max internal Age Rule Not Working RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi guys,

I'm following this guide to add Cache-Control at my CDN
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-za/azure/cdn/cdn-rules-engine#feedback

    But it's not working.
    Am i missing something here?

Here is one example without Cache control added on response header.

    And here is my configuration:

    Thank you.

  • How do you know that this setting isn't working? Force Internal Max-Age just impacts the TTL that is used by CDN POPs. It does not change cache control headers that are sent to clients. If you also want to change the value sent to clients use the "External Max Age" feature - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cdn/cdn-rules-engine-reference-features#external-max-age. Currently as your origin is sending cache-control: max-age=2592000 this is the same value that will be sent to clients.
