  • Hi,

    Visual Studio has encountered an unexpected error : This error generally occurs when Visual Studio receives data in an unexpected format or receives data from an unexpected source.

    I suggest you close and then restart Visual Studio. This problem occurs may due to an older version of VisualSVN.

    What's more, here is the code snippet about extending the project node class for your reference.

        public class SimpleProjectNode : ProjectNode
        {
            private SimpleProjectPackage package;

            public SimpleProjectNode(SimpleProjectPackage package)
            {
                this.package = package;
            }
            public override Guid ProjectGuid
            {
                get { return GuidList.guidSimpleProjectFactory; }
            }
            public override string ProjectType
            {
                get { return "SimpleProjectType"; }
            }

            public override void AddFileFromTemplate(
                string source, string target)
            {
                this.FileTemplateProcessor.UntokenFile(source, target);
                this.FileTemplateProcessor.Reset();
            }
        }

    Best regards,

  • Hi,

    I'm sorry that my reply make you feel uncomfortable.

    The code snippet I paste you can work and it has some differences with yours except for the names.

    Your code:

    public TcHmiProjectNode(TcHmiPackagePackage package)
            {
                this.package = package;
                this.package.TcHmiProjectNode = this;
            }

    And I paste:

    public SimpleProjectNode(SimpleProjectPackage package)
            {
                this.package = package;
            }
