Free upgrade

Question

I applied for the free upgrade about 3 weeks or so ago to EW2 and my EW2 trial version expires tomorrow, before having received the key. As the upgrade website mentioned (I think) 6-8 weeks delay, does this mean that I'm stuck for several weeks?Sunday, June 29, 2008 12:00 PM

You could use whatever you had before, while you're waiting, but other than that - you're stuck.
Maybe you could try uninstalling the trial and reinstalling it?

One of the easiest ways to continue playing is to set up a virtual machine. If you are peaked out on your RAM, this is not an option, but it works fine for most implementations. It will require moving the bits from the machine to the virtual instance, but that can be done fairly easily with a USB key.
