Commerce Server Order Adapter RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I've been trying to get our CS Order adapter working for a while now...

Initially we where running on virtual boxes, and at this point we accually got it working. Due to restrictions from the hosting company, we where not allowd to install MS Clustering Services on these mashines, so we had to get ourselfs some physical boxes.

-So far so good, we install and configured the new boxes and added then to the group, and we also had MSCS installed, through which we clustered two of our hosts.

Now the trouble begun. Ths CS Order adapter successfully polls for messages, but as soon as an Order is placed, the trouble begins:

    Event Type: Error
Event Source: Commerce Server Orders Receive Adapter
    Event Category: None
    Event ID: 0
    Date:  2010-01-21
    Time:  19:20:31
    User:  N/A
    Computer: sbbizvtest102.ad.systembolaget.se
    Description:
Failed submitting message to BizTalk.  Message: The transaction has already been implicitly or explicitly committed or aborted (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8004D00E).  Stack trace:    at Microsoft.CommerceServer.Internal.ITransactionExport.Export(Object punkTransaction, UInt32& pcbTransactionCookie)
       at Microsoft.CommerceServer.Internal.TxHelper.GetCookieForTransaction(ITransaction transaction, Byte[] whereabouts)
       at Microsoft.CommerceServer.BizTalk.Adapters.CommonUtilities.CreateCommerceServerCookie(ITransaction transaction, Byte[] whereabouts)
       at Microsoft.CommerceServer.Adapter.Orders.OrdersReceiveEndpoint.SubmitBatch().

We get these exceptions regardless if we are using the clustered host or not. I'm no expert at MSDTC, but we've runned DTC Ping, and that seams to work.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks for taking the time.

  • I've seen similar symptom caused by redundant firewall issue. You may temporarily disable existing firewalls and test again. Also please try increasing DTC timeout value (default shuold be 60).

  • What order status do you have set in the receive location?

Also, what OS/SQL version are you using?

    Thanks,
