VBA to toggle auto-hide ribbon in Outlook 365? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is there a straightforward way to programatically auto-hide (or show) the ribbon in Outlook 365? The "auto-hide" feature is different from what happens when the user presses CTRL-F1, since auto-hide eliminates the entire top bar in the Outlook window, while CTRL-F1 just toggles the visibility of the commands under each tab. I've seen several references to CommandBars.ExecuteMSO "HideRibbon" but that doesn't appear to be valid in Outlook. Any pointers?
