  • Question

  • Hi All ! When when I change a password in Azure AD , this password is reflected in AAD Ldap after 20 minutes, users query Ldap all day and they SSH , I need to lower sync times to 1 minute , something like "Set-AZ-ADSync 00:00:01 Cmd " similar to ADConnect , but for Pure Azure Cloud

I've checked all documentation , forum and twwets to MS , community , etc !

    Thanks !

  • Hello Pablo,

20-30 minutes is the minimum time required for any change to be synchronized to AAD DS. I am afraid there is no option to decrease the sync time specifically for passwords.

  • This doc explains how synchronization works in AAD DS in detail.

" Initial synchronization may take from a few hours to a couple of days depending on the number of objects in your Azure AD directory. After initial synchronization completes, it takes about 20-30 minutes for changes that are made in Azure AD to be updated in your managed domain. This synchronization interval applies to password changes or changes to attributes made in Azure AD."

    Hope this helps.
