How to use IMultiSourceFrameReader::SubscribeMultiSourceFrameArrived RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi!

I've started using Kinect SDK v2 with Kinect 2 and I have a issue that my program sometimes eats frames. I have a loop which asks IMultiSourceFrameReader::AcquireLatestFrame every 33 ms but sometimes (~10%) this function returns E_PENDING.

I think this might be a syncronization issue between my timer and Kinect stream, so I'm thinking about the function IMultiSourceFrameReader::SubscribeMultiSourceFrameArrived may avoid this problem.

So my question is simple: How to use IMultiSourceFrameReader::SubscribeMultiSourceFrameArrived and will It solve my problem?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Take a look at this sample code here:

It shows how to listen for kinect events using C++.
