Hosting Public Site on Azure RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

I currently have a customer who currently hosts there public website on Hostgator and I would like to propose Azure as a cost effecting and reliable solution for this customer.

I would like to know the different methods that can be used to host this public website and how this is done?and what are the considerations?

In addition how do you also determine the and asses the pricing?

    Appreciate some help

    Thanks

  • You can use Azure Web Apps or their PaaS offerings. Take a look at the following link

    http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/services/app-service/web/

Azure allows you to host .NET, NodeJS, Tomcat, Flask, PHP websites. There are also packages and frameworks out of the box that you can use (WordPress, Drupal etc).

You can use this calculator to help with pricing
