Excel Power pivot model restore issue in 2016 Tabular RRS feed

  • Hi Chaps,

    I have a Excel power pivot model, when i'm trying to restore it to Tabular 2016 server getting below error.

    i have Tabular 2016 Standard64 installed in my machine.

    

    Please help me on this.

  • That error seems to imply that you need the Enterprise or Developer edition of SSAS for your workspace database in order to do a PowerPivot import. So you'll either need to install one of those or you could try doing this using the integrated workspace instance in SSDT.

    Thanks for your question.

    I agree with Darren,if you want to use the option "Workspace server", you may need to install Enterprise or Developer edition of SQL Server. Or you can just create the SSAS project with the "Integrated workspace" for '64 BIT Standard' edition of analysis services. See below images:
