We have people that are using IIS 7 on a network account with local admin permissions, now IT want to remove all local admin permissions but that then mean people can't run IIS on their local machines.
I've tied to use some "run as" software but the software can't find the application, I know where the application is located but then i go to link the software to it, its invisible.
I've also tried giving the local user account permissions to run IIS by using the Metabase Explorer but because they are only using IIS on their local machines its making no difference.
Can someone suggest how we could run this application without local admin permissions?
