     In my cs file I added the dlls and namespaces

    using Microsoft.Practices.EnterpriseLibrary.Logging;

    using System.Diagnostics;

    using Microsoft.Practices.EnterpriseLibrary.Common;

    using Microsoft.Practices.EnterpriseLibrary.ExceptionHandling;

    LogEntry objLogEntry = new LogEntry();

    protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)

    {

    try

    {

    }

    catch (Exception ex)

    {

    objLogEntry.Message = ex.Message;

    objLogEntry.Categories.Add ("EventLogCategory");

    Logger.Write(objLogEntry);

    }

    }

    error could not be viewed in event log and flat file named as rolling.log when enters the exception block.

    help me.

    thanks and regards,

    steve

    Did you find a solution to this? I've had the same problem for a while and so have just been using the email trace listener. I suspect it's something to do with permissions but haven't had time to look into it.

    Cheers Wayne
