Virtual machine scale sets for web servers - back end SQL server AG/Azure SQL Database

Question

Hello All,

Hope safe and well

We are planning to use VM scale set for web servers as front end and back end covered by SQL Server always on/AZure SQL Database PaaS service.

I need help to understand the deployment of web servers on VM scale set.

 1. Deploy a VM with IIS and deploy the web site with code and connection string to back end SQL server

2. I am missing something here I guess (??????)

 3. Deply the VM to scale set.

Is this the right process??
