redirect MODI output file location of office 2003 RRS feed

  • Question

  • hi folks, i met a problem in migration app which is developed using VB6.0 from windows server 2003 to windows server 2008 .

    in the app,it will call the MODI outlook converter to converter a MSG file to TIFF.the code is below:

    if (outlookItem is Outlook.MailItem)

    common.WriteToLog("outlookItem is of type MailItem");

    // Convert this file to TIFF by printing to the MODI Print Driver.

    the destination file path of the TIFF file is a parameter  which specified when launch the app.

    but actually,the destination file will put to "C:\USERS\XX" which is the default output file path of MODI.

    can anybody help to trouble shoot of this issue? the reason why this come out?

  • Hi SmallPig,

    What kind of project is it?  Have you converted it from VB6.0 to .net?

    Best Regards,
