Problem with building VSTO project in VS 2010 with Office 2013 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Im trying to build VSTO project in Visual Studio 2010, system is having
office 2013. OS is 32 bit windows 7.

I'm getting build errors The "VerifyClickOnceSigningSettings" task could not
    be instantiated from the assembly

or The "SetInclusionListEntry" task failed unexpectedly. But not both at the
    same time.

Can any one please help me with this issues. I didn't get much documentation
related to these errors in forums. Is VS 2010 compatible to run office 2013 run
    time tools.

I have installed Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime but no
    luck.

  • Issue is solved.

Project file has some build extensions that were targeting office 2007 , so this is the reason why it can't build with Office 2013 run time.

    Thanks for your suggestions.

  • build errors - meaning they happen during build time in VS itself?

  • Yes, they happened when I tried to build the project from VS.

  • i know this is not very helpful but maybe try to repair your VS 2010 installation now that office 2013 is installed. check in repair mode if office development is set, it should install all required stuff.
