Dual Network card System IO/Sleep PNP IO test RRS feed

  • Question

  •     Our config has two network cards, during running below system related items, it will fail as the network card, seems something wrong with the gateway or IP. But before test, we have already set the address and can ping successfully from Sever to test machine, also machine to Server.

Does anyone have good advice or correct method to set the Network configuration?

    Error info,

  • It looks like you are testing in a private network configuration. Can you try to have these machines in a public network and try again? You don't have to pass any parameters if they have an IPv6 gateway address. Thanks.

    Thanks srepaka,

We checked, they are public network. The problem is that if we only connect one netwok port to test, it will only fail the other one not connected. But set two cards to test, both are failed.

Would you please give an example settings?

We want to confirm if any thing missed or not which may be small but important.

  • Did you configure your IP addresses in a special way? They do not look like they are in a standard format. Thanks.

Do you mean Sever IPV6 DHCP configured, and Test machine both networks are connected to the Server and auto-get the IPV6 address, during test, we input the machine auto-get IPV6 address?

And it requires the IPV6 address, so we should input Network 1 address or Network 2 to run test or any one is fine?
