  • Where is VB 2008 Express Registration Key ?

There shouldn't be an actual registration issue - searching the web should reveal other users who ran into that and found solutions.

But why install VB2008 at all?  Just download and install Visual Studio 2015 Community edition.  You can still target all of the older frameworks and work on older projects (even start new ones if you wanted to).  But you get the latest editor and language features, which are well worth it.  Plus you can't hardly interact with the modern world via VS2008 anymore... you need the modern toolset.

  • Hi philipwf,

This forum is about the the Visual Basic programming language, IDE, libraries, samples, and tools. (Not for VB6 questions), as your issue is more related to the Visual Studio itself, we help you move it to the Visual Studio General Questions forum for better support.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best Regards,

    Albert Zhang
