create workflow to send an email to users when an event was approved RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

    I  am using  calendar for resources Booking with content Approval(for
    Approved or Rejected). When an event(Booking) was approved /rejected i want to send an
    email to users(Who is requesting the booking) weather their booking was
    approved or rejected using workflow.<o:p></o:p>

    I  created a workflow but it sending an email for both  Approved/Rejected the same i mean when i
    clicked on approve, sending the email same message(Like Your booking was
    Approved), and if I select rejected also sending the same message(your booking
    was approved). But i want if approved send mail as approved, if rejected send
    mail as rejected. Is it possible.<o:p></o:p>

    Please Can anybody give me some instructions how to do this.<o:p></o:p>

    Thank you

    <o:p></o:p>

    You can use the IfElse Activity.

    1. Drag it on to the Workflow or State

    2. On the IfElse properties go to Conditions and select Code Condition.

    3. Declare the name of your code condition.

    4. Under the code condition you can use the code below.

    bool isApproved;

    if (Status == "Approved")

    {

    isApproved = true;

    //you can use your email sending code here

    }

    else

    {

    isApproved = false;

    //you can use your email sending code here

    }

    e.Result = isApproved;
