  • Question

  • HI,

I have created two extension project which I would like to include into my application. Currently, I have created multiple VSIX project files but through

    Microsoft.VisualStudio.ExtensionManager.IVsEXtensionManager

I am able to install only one extension project into my application. Could this be possible that able to include multiple extension project.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Why do you need IVsExtensionManager?

A single VSIX can contain more than one extension (package, Mef, etc) editing the .vsixmanifest, Assets section, New button, Type=..., Source=A project in the current solution...

  • Thanks for the reply.

Currently, in my application I have set comma separated path for extension inclusion through setting tab. So, I download and install extension project into my application until it find right path.

It is requirement that it may require to include functionality from different sources into my application. So, path will be different. I need to plug extensions. Is above solution is the only solution.
