Update of the Daylight savings rules on the Windows Embedded system RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We have a software application that runs on a windows embedded OS. The OS was licensed in 2005. Since then we have worked on it to create the application. Now it has come to our attention that the Daylight savings time rules in the US have changed since 2006. (they used to change from winter to summer time on 1st sunday of april, now they change it on the 2nd sunday of March).

I want to know how to make the OS change the Daylight savings rules regarding the US. The system is automated, thus human interference is unwanted. We have tried running automatic updates, but that hasnt changed it. Is there a special kind of update just for Daylight savings/ Timezone rule changes?

    Thanks!
    Adarsh
