Does Office 365 Preview API provide access to Tasks? RRS feed

  • Question

  •  I there any Rest API for Office 365 Tasks ?

    e.g. URL : https://outlook.office365.com/ews/odata/Me/Folders('Tasks')

Despite this, I can't find any documentation on how to read tasks from this folder. Is there an way to read the tasks using REST Api.

  • Hi CH.Azeem,

There is no such API for the Outlook REST API at preview. However, the task API already published in the Microsoft Graph API for the beta version. Here is the link for your reference:

    http://graph.microsoft.io/en-us/docs/api-reference/beta/resources/task

And since this forum is mainly discussing the issues about Office add-in, I suggest that you raise a new question on the Stack Overflow tagged with "Office 365" if you have other questions about Office 365 REST API.

    Regards & Fei

  • Hi,

I have tried graph API. But, it isn't working for TASKS.

here is the console for testing Graph Beta REST APIs.

    Ref : https://graphexplorer2.azurewebsites.net/

    API Call : https://graph.microsoft.com/beta/me/tasks

It is returning error in case of fetching TASKS working fine for messages etc.

Is there any stable Rest API to fetch TASKS ? Or I am missing something.

    BR.
