how to create/author a RDL

Question
-
i was looking for a guide/beginners doc on how to step by step create a RDL file for creating a SQL reporting server report.
I was unable to find a comprehensive one on msdn, though i found something similar on codeguru (http://www.codeproject.com/KB/reporting-services/ReportingServices.aspx) .. do we have something similar and in detail for me to get started.
Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks,
