Getting Error after task is completed. RRS feed

  • Hi,

    We have two level approval in our workflow. When item is added to list, task has been  created and sends custom mail to assigned user with task link.

    User can open task from outlook mail and approve it. once task is approved, it will be deleted and second task will be created.

    after sometime, same assigned user opens the task from mail(first task) again, getting below error.

    Task is not existed so we are getting error, we want to display custom message like "task is already approved".

    Could you please suggest how can we achieve this.

  • Hi,

    What is the logic behind deleting the task once it is approved. However, an approval task can be used only once regardless of the user action (either Approve/Reject).  Once the status becomes 'Completed', the infopath task form will no longer have 'Approve / Reject' buttons. You could just change the views to hide the completed tasks.
