  • Hi there--

You can get the Resource assignment using the Reporting database or PSI- project webswervice & while you update the actual hours, You can use the Statusing Webs wervice to Update/ Submit the hours.
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/websvcstatusing.statusing_di_pj14mref(v=office.14).aspx

Submits one or more modified saved assignments to the project manager for approval.:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/gg200715(v=office.14).aspx

    Applies changes to saved assignments
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/gg209876(v=office.14).aspx

    Hope that helps.

  • Hi there--

Loosk like that you are trying to modify the resource cal using the PSI. Is that correct?

If yes, You have reached to PSI limitation:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/ee767706(v=office.14).aspx

    What PSI Doesn't do

    • Creating or editing resource calendars.

If can be done only with MS project client.

    Hope that helps.

  • What do you mean bij 'worktime' ? Do you want to enable people to submit their actual hours spent on various projects during 'today'? Basically as a 'shortcut' for the weekly timesheet? Or do you want to provide the actual start- and end-time a person has worked? The first is possible using the PSI, the last not. For the first though you have to think in timesheets - and thus also about submission. You might think of collecting during the week and that submit at the end of the week.
