How To use Blend for Windows 10 Univeral apps for beginners RRS feed

  • Question

  • At a conference Microsoft called "/build", a guy gave a speech that said that Expression Blend was a program that could be used to create visual states to replace animation blocks in Visual Studio views. In his words "If you are still writing animations like that, (like the Microsoft Press books tell you to do) you were doing it wrong.

I've never used Blend, have no idea how to.  But I do need to use Windows 10 and understand how to use it to 'stop doing it wrong'.

Where is the absolute beginners written docs for Blend 2015 relating to Universal App visual state design.  I need to change my display orientation automatically like the guy giving the speech.  A link to actual written documentation with step by step code examples, explanations, and tutorials, not videos, and not 3rd party sites.
