  • I get the trace error, it's related to default.aspx

  • verify that there are not any space between words, and then verify in web.config file, app title, hasn't any space.

    very web.config file  

    <forms name="yourappname" timeout="180" />
    


    Ensure to replace any space for _ ONLY in web.config and then on configuration for your project.

  • If you’re running into problems with your deployed Lightswitch application, you may need to view the trace output. You can do that using the following steps:

    1) Run the app

    2) Determine the port number the app is running on:

    - Open an elevated command line prompt

    - Enter “netstat –bnap tcp”

    - Find the port number that corresponds to “vlshost” (Note: the port number is above the name)

    3) Go to http://localhost:PORTNUMBER/trace.axd
