    Hello all,

    I've one strange issue reported by two of our clients, hey say they very often get the MSP Client freezed (which goes up to 1 hours before release). In same place other users are working fine, they don't have any issues. One more information I get from client is they are not seeing any heave memory usage (no mem leakage I guess) in Taskmanager when the freeze happens.

    What must be the reasons. I've already suggested four fixes for this and I'm waiting for the client reply. However in addition any of your suggestions, comments would be really appreciated.

    Hello Sateesh

    It may seem like a freeze, but if it is always realized, then it's apparently waiting for something.  And once it gets it, project continues.

    Is the connection local or over a WAN.  Is it a large MPP?   What version of project are you running?  Have all the SP been applied?  Is the behavior the same for others at the same location?  Is it NT or Kerberos authentication? 

    Also, if the DNS is not working properly, there is a lot of network chatter and project spends time looking for the PWA site.

    Just a few things to think about.
