How to create more than one instance for a USB driver? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have two custom USB device, both has same device id and vendor id (but functiolaity is different). Also i have common usb driver for the same.

I can able to install and load the driver for both the device independently and i can able to communicate with the device from my application.

But if i connect both device same time, i can able to load the driver for one device only, another device keep on asking for driver name.

Actually if i conenct two device, i should get two instances (OTE1 and OTE2) in active registry. So then i can easily communicate with two devices at same time.

Could you someone please suggest, what to do to resolve this issue?
