New Silverlight Projects in Blend (GregD) - 1/18/2008 1:54 PM PST RRS feed

I've downloaded the new Blend 2 Dec version to play with the Silverlight
tool, but when I choose new project I only see "Silverlight Site". Not the JS
or the .Net options shown in books and tutorials. Am I missing something?

    Thanks

    Hi Greg,

Blend 2 Dec comes with support for Silverlight 1.0 which is JS based, so
that is the one you are looking for (Silverlight Site). Currently, there is
no support for Silverlight 2.0 (formerly known as Silverlight 1.1) - and
that is the version which uses .Net if I can put it like that.

You can, however, use Silverlight tools for Visual Studio and create your
    Silverlight projects based on .Net!

    Hope this helps a bit,

    Vibor
