  • If the Current OS Image supports Hive based registry and persistence storage then using the Regedit application create a new entry for your driver and copy your ned dll to windows folder.

Regedit is available in Bruce Eitman's blog.

  • Hi Rohith

Windows CE 7 BSP for iMX53 does not comes for free. Have a look at

    http://www.adeneo-embedded.com/Products/Board-Support-Packages/Freescale-i.MX53-QSB.

This link explains you how to add binary driver to your windows CE OS image.

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-in/library/ee478797.aspx.

It is not possible to include a binary driver as such to NK.bin.

    1. You can create your own catalog file as specified in this link by Bruce Eitman.

    2. Create your own OS design, add your binary BSP to OS design and build it.

  • Copy your driver dll to the device after it is booted (windows folder or any persistance mounted disk) do the required registry settings by editing the reg file and using application you can load your driver (see ActivateDeviceEx() ) . If hive is enabled you need to do the registry settings once.
