Multilingual App Kit is blocking user input after translating multiple entries RRS feed

  • Question

  • The Multilingual App Toolkit, in the relatively newly-released Version 2.0 allows you to select multiple xliffs and translate them all with one click. This is fantastic. The problem is that after I do it, it blocks user input until I restart Visual Studio.

I'm using Visual Studio 2012 Ultimate. I have ReSharper and DotCover installed, along with Nuget.

The message I get upon closing VS is the standard:

"Microsoft Visual Studio has detected that an operation is blocking user input. This can be caused by an active modal dialog or a task that needs to block user interaction. Would you like to shut down anyway? Yes/No" This happens every time after translating multiple resources (which is frankly a necessity with how many languages we are able to support, thanks to this very amazing toolkit).

If anyone has any suggestions, I would be much obliged. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the toolkit and simply waiting it out. Neither seem to work.

    Thank you.
