Regarding Exchange 2010 on Windows 2012 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear All,

I just have one small query as per the below url, the maximum number of Physical Servers in a DAG are 16, and this is NOT the exchange product limit but of Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise Limitation

    http://www.tino.nl/index.php/2010/06/11/answers-to-the-10-most-common-questions-on-the-exchange-dag/

I have gone through an article on Windows 2012, and understand that it supports 64 Physical Nodes

So if i want to Install a DAG on Windows 2012, then we can have 63 Servers on a DAG?

    Regards

  • I didn't test it but yes i read the same and Exchange 2013 DAG on Windows Server 2012 can support up to 63 nodes. You can review following technet blog of Scott Schnoll who is principle technical writer Exchange Server Team...
