Does the .NET framework support setting DSCP in QoS? RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are developing in .NET and would like to know if we have an API we can use to set the Differentiated Services Code Point (DSCP) values in Quality of Service (QoS) ??

I found the following reference that it wasn´t supported back in 2008: https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/7813a46e-1e4c-406d-89c0-beb9d0814cac/set-the-differentiated-services-code-point-dscp-values-in-quality-of-service-qos?forum=networkqosqwave

is it supported now in .NET framework??...any other workaround different from above???

    Thanks in advanced

If you mean the managed QoS API, unfortunately, the .NET Framework does not provide one. There is only a subset one of the Winsock 2 API: QOS API. So if you want to use it in .NET, you need to use P/Invoke way.

    Regards.
