exchange 2007 powershell question

Question

Is support for the powershell commandlets installed by default when installing exchange server 2007?  (i.e. Is it safe to assume it will be there?) If not, what options need to be checked during installation to make sure exchange powershell queries will work on the exchange server.

Yes, PowerShell is a requirement for exchange 2007 - when you install Exchange 2007 the management shell is also loaded.

You have the 1-2-3 requirement (as my collegue called it) for Exchange 2007:

1 - PowerShell 1.0
2 - .Net Framework 2.0
3 - Management Console 3.0
