Problem using Crstal Report in VS 2010 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We have developed an application in Visual Studio 2003 in which we made some reports using Crystal Report. The same application is upgraded to Visual Studio 2010 (stepwise). Now, the application is running fine, but we are unable to open reports. Can anyone give some solution ?

  • Rajiv,

I'm not sure if this has come with SP1 but in Visual Studio 2010 (full versions AFAIK) comes Crystal report but was not in the first release with VS2010SP1. I don't know in which version Crystal Reports is available (not in Express that I know) but I thought in all full versions.

File -> Add new project -> Visual Basic -> Reporting -> Crystal reports , a download page will than open for a free download.

Crystal reports is not popular to handle in forums, luckily it has its own forum and using it is quite program language independent.

  • Hello,

If you search here on CR for VS 2010 you'll find a lot of info to download the SP1 installer and redist files. Also you'll find more info on SAP Crystal Reports SDK forum:
